SCANDI CHIC
LIVING ROOM
This is a room transformation we designed from scratch and executed in Jumeirah Park in Dubai. We turned a bland long room with boring tiles and beige walls into a cosy, stylish space that’s perfect to unwind after a long day, watch movies and generally relax. The colour palette was kept pretty neutral with just a few pops of terracotta colour but we went all out on the textures and accessories. Bouclé fabrics, marble, warm oak wood, velvet, wool, and natural cotton create a riot of softness and texture that tantalizes the senses almost as much as bright colours would. We mixed high end pieces, with high street items to create a cool scandi vibe but that is comfortable and sophisticated.
